Cork rescue dog of the week: Daisy the sweet and friendly beagle –

Every week we bring you a rescue dog from Dog Action Welfare Group Cork, and this week is no different.

More people are now working from home and being encouraged to get outside for some fresh air so why not consider adopting a loyal companion?

Dog Action Welfare Group Cork still have dogs that are looking to be homed and the influx of pups has not reduced despite the current crisis.

This week our spotlight is on Daisy, a five year old beagle who is full of happiness.

This sweet doggo arrived at DAWG very timid and afraid but she has really gained confidence over her time there.

She is massively affectionate and loves her cuddles with her human buddies.

Daisy would prefer to be an only dog and with older children as she can be a little afraid.

She is not fully house trained yet but she is getting there and it is not known how she gets on with cats.

To find out more about Daisy you can email info@dogactionwelfaregroup.ie or call DAWG on 083 171 4307.

You can look at more adorable pups or fill out an adoption form for Daisy online here.
